We all know that bad things can happen to good people, but it is our attitude towards these challenges that molds us. Happy to Survive wants to help you thrive and survive, and offers articles about preparedness, and off-the-grid, self-reliant living.
The vision for Happy to Survive magazine began with the desire to bring positive, high quality material to our readers about numerous survival niches in a central hub. Happy to Survive exists because we believe in people, community, and helping others. We know that people bond through shared experience and we can grow and learn together, and there is no better feeling than this. In the old days, families and communities would all gather in a field for a barn-raising, and this strengthened the community; at Happy to Survive, sharing this collective experience is a part of our success.
Our writers cumulatively have decades of practical experience from every part of this great nation: from working in the fields, pastures, yards, gardens, and flowerbeds, to experience in kitchens, sawmills, and other venues. Many of us have stories that taught us valuable lessons about self-reliant living from a young age; we learned how to hunt, fish, and live off the land. For those of us in rural regions, we had to learn how to take care of each other as we truly lived off-the-grid, and it is this knowledge that we strive to deliver to you.
As we built this company, we have connected with a lot of great people. We learned on the farm how to work together, understand values, and value people. Happy to Survive exists with a strong work ethic and sincerely cares for our employees and customers, like a family would. We want to give back and we want to connect with a larger group of like-minded people to exchange ideas on prepping, food storage, dehydration, and many other topics around preparedness. We bring this knowledge to you in each and every article that we publish.
We run our operation out of Alabama in a small town with no shortage of fans of gardening, guns, freedom, and the American way of life. We are just good-natured folks and we’re here if you need us, so take a look around and let us know if there is anything we can help with. Feel free to drop us a line or submit an article if you have something for us to consider publishing.
Our goal is to bring you world-class articles on related topics in one convenient place. By addressing the various aspects of preparedness, self-sufficiency, and sustainability merged with modern life, each issue will bring something for everyone.
Welcome to our family,
